Hey there! My name is Brady Okic (pronounced oak-itch), I use He/Him/His pronouns, I’m a cis man who is Hispanic, Indigenous, and Caucasian mixed, and I’m currently based in Chicago, Illinois. I’m someone who values proper representation in characters and stories over entertainment and media, making people laugh, connecting with others, and a good home cooked meal. I grew up in the Midwest where I went to college at the University of Northern Iowa for my BA in Theatre: Performance. There I met lots of amazing people that have influenced me to grow and become better each year. While at UNI I rekindled my love for community involvement and leadership that I originally left behind as I graduated high school, and found a way to balance my love for performing and advocating for those in need. Since my time at UNI, I got the opportunity to be a part of some feature films in my hometown, I began writing a play about my family, and I took on a contract where I toured with Missoula Childrens Theatre.

An upcoming project I’m involved in is a feature horror film called “The Welcomer” (fatkidsproductions.com) coming out this fall. Otherwise you can catch me working part time as a line cook and an actor in film and theatre in the lovely city of Chicago! My journey has just begun, and I can assure you I will venture out into new, exciting, and fulfilling places. So watch me and see what I do next. I can’t wait to surprise you 🙂
